An integral part of the FAT Part 150 NEM Update project includes a public outreach process that provides consultations with the public, airport stakeholders, the state, local governments, the airlines and other aircraft operators to afford them the opportunity to submit their views, information, and comments during the project.
The City will schedule two public workshops where community members can learn about the project and provide comments.
First Public Workshop
On Thursday, August 6, 2015, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., the City hosted the first of two public workshops for the FAT Part 150 Noise Exposure Map Update at the Picadilly Inn Airport. Airport officials and consultants were present to answer questions regarding the NEM update process. A brief 15-minute presentation was given at 6 p.m.
Second Public Workshop
A second workshop has been scheduled for Tuesday August 1, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Californian Ballroom at the Piccadilly Inn (5115 E. McKinley Ave, Fresno, CA 93727) to present the draft updated Noise Exposure Maps and related documentation to the public. Airport officials and consultants will be available to answer questions regarding the NEM update process and results.
For anyone unable to attend the workshop on August 1st, the Airport is hosting another workshop on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m., with the same format and opportunity to visit with staff and consultants as well as provide written comments. This workshop will be held in the Terminal Conference Room, Fresno-Yosemite International Airport, 5175 E. Clinton Way, Fresno CA 93727. Parking will be validated.
